A meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held this date in Higgins-Demas Auditorium, Mount Desert Island Regional High School. (At the conclusion of the Annual Town Meeting)
Those present included: Chairman Rick Savage, Selectmen Ernest Coombs, Patrick Smallidge, Emily Damon Pascal, and Jeff Smith; Town Manager Michael MacDonald; and members of the public.

Chairman Savage called the meeting to order at 10:02 p.m.

A. Election of Officers;
Chairman, Selectman Coombs nominated Richard Savage a Chairman, second by Selectman Smith, Savage elected Chairman 4-0-1 (Savage abstain).
Vice Chairman, Selectman Damon Pascal nominated Patrick Smallidge, second by Selectman Smith, Smallidge elected Vice Chair 4-0-1 (Smallidge abstain)
Sectary, Selectman Damon Pascal nominated Jeffery Smith, second by Selectman Coombs, Smith elected Secretary 4-0-1 (Smith abstain).
B Set Meeting Schedule for 2004-2005
Motion to accept meeting schedule as proposed, 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, months in which Monday Holidays occur, meeting to be held on first Tuesday of month.
